About
Good News Outreach NW

Presenting the gospel, a message of hope
and of peace through Jesus Christ.

For over a decade, Tom & Ruth Hoy have been making special trips each summer to Moses Lake and Okanogan, holding morning sessions with the children of the local areas in vacation Bible school, and in the evening there’s a gospel meeting for any who would like to attend.

Their goal has always been to share the gospel with as many people as possible.

Over the years there have been a lot of fine folks from across North America who have come along to help with the effort, everything from organizing children’s activities, sharing the gospel, setting up and taking down the tent, and keeping the whole crew fed.

This year we held Vacation Bible School online via Zoom.

We hope everyone is staying safe through the pandemic and we look forward to seeing you all next year!

About Tom

Since trusting Christ as my Savior in my youth, I have been interested in others coming to know the blessing of eternal life and the forgiveness of sins through the Lord Jesus Christ as well. Since my teenage years to this present time we have used many means to make this message known!

One of those ways is through putting up a large tent and welcoming people, regardless of age, religion, or nationality, to hear messages from the Bible about who Jesus is and what He has done out of love for every person. In many parts of North America we have preached this wonderful message freely to all who will listen.

In recent years we have held a morning VBS and an evening Bible teaching meeting for the whole family in Okanogan (9 years) and Moses Lake (11 years), Washington. My wife and I along with other messengers seek to tell people of the Savior through whatever means is available. Because of the covid-19 pandemic, and the restrictions of in person meetings, we are reaching out in virtual ways.

God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
